The Mining & Energy Services Council of Australia (MESCA) is an industry body representing Australia's mining, equipment, technology, services (METS) supply chain companies. In combination with Ai Group’s industry network we offer an unparalleled industry engagement service and are committed to being a peak industry body working on behalf of Australian industry. Our core purpose is to assist members in developing and enhancing partnerships while maximising their opportunities to contribute to mining and energy projects.

Genex Power - Industry / Supplier Briefing
$750 Million Kidston Solar and Pump Storage Hydro Project

Genex Power's Executive Director, Simon Kidston, will present on the overall scope and upcoming supplier opportunities for Stage 2 of the 250MW Kidston Pumped Storage Hydro and 270MW Kidston Solar Project. An overview will also be presented on Stage 1 (50 MW solar, funded and under construction, $126 million).

Genex is developing a renewable energy hub in north Queensland, integrating large scale solar with pumped storage hydro. The Genex Kidston Renewable Energy Hub is a world first innovative integration of intermittent solar energy with low cost energy storage creating “Renewable Energy On Tap”.
